I need some help dating a shotgun that my son inherited from his grandfather. It's not something he wants to keep, so he's looking to sell it to have $$ to put towards a different gun. It's a Remington UMC Model 10-A. It has a 'U' and a number '122xxx' stamped on the bottom of the receiver. This same number is stamped on one side of the barrel as well and 'Mod B' (with the B encircled) stamped on the other side. 'D108' is stamped on the pump slide tube. We originally thought the U meant 1927, but the more I read, the more I think I'm wrong. i guess it's time to admit that we really don't have a clue. Help, please?
